‘Land of Origins’ Exactly Describes Historic, Cradle of Humanity Ethiopia, Say Kenyan Journalists


Addis ababa: The brand “Land of Origins” exactly describes Ethiopia, a country rich in history and natural wonders; also known as the cradle of humanity, Kenyan journalists visiting Ethiopia told ENA.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, the official ‘Ethiopia: Land of Origins’ depicts the country as rich in history and natural wonders, and where human ancestors first walked on two legs. Kenyan journalist John Riaga expressed his appreciation for understanding why Ethiopia is called the Land of Origins. He noted that based on their observations and explanations received, it is justified to label Ethiopia as such.



Riaga emphasized that the history of humanity originates from Ethiopia, influencing regions like Kenya and Tanzania. He acknowledged the profound human history spanning millions of years, which he described as awe-inspiring. He plans to share this knowledge upon his return to Nairobi, emphasizing the insights he gained during his visit.



Another Kenyan journalist, Agatha Ngotho, visited the National Museum of Ethiopia for the first time. She shared her prior knowledge of Ethiopia’s National Museum, particularly its association with the history of Lucy. Ngotho described her visit as exciting and recommended that tourists start their journey at the museum to gain an understanding of Ethiopia’s history and evolution.



Ngotho further noted the beauty of Addis Ababa, especially when seen at night. She highlighted the city’s urban development and the captivating street lights, encouraging visitors to explore the city.
